With water bouncers, the jump surface is sewn directly to the inflatable tube. This gives them more jump surface and makes them safer since you don't have to worry about getting pinched with the springs. A side result of this is that water bouncers give less bounce. They are great for kids, for use as water sports starting base and relaxing on.
